Previously Faith Assembly of God, our church has been a beacon of hope and faith in the Hertford and Elizabeth City areas for over 20 years. We were founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a place where people could experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and serve their community.
What began as a small group of believers meeting together with a shared passion for worship and outreach has grown into a vibrant, Spirit-led church family. Through the years, God has faithfully guided us as we’ve expanded our ministries, reached out to those in need, and touched countless lives with the message of hope.

In recent years, we have stepped into a new season of growth and transformation. As part of our continued commitment to reaching more people and deepening our impact, we rebranded to New Destiny Ministries, reflecting both the evolving vision of our church and the broader mission God has placed on our hearts.
This rebranding was not just about a new name or logo, but about embracing a fresh sense of purpose. With a renewed focus on outreach, discipleship, and community engagement, we’re more determined than ever to create a place where individuals can encounter God, grow in their faith, and step into the destiny He has prepared for them.

As we look ahead to the future, New Destiny Ministries is excited to embark on an important next step in our growth and ministry. Over the next year, we plan to begin building a new sanctuary as an extension of our current church campus. This expansion will allow us to accommodate the growing needs of our congregation and create a space that reflects the vibrancy of our community.
Once the new sanctuary is completed, we will be able to transform our current sanctuary into a flexible event space, allowing us to host a variety of activities and ministries. This updated space will be ideal for children’s programs, community events, and church-wide gatherings, helping us better serve our growing congregation and reach more people in our community.
The new sanctuary will not only provide additional seating for worship services but also create a more dynamic environment for ministry and service.
